Mighty Thunder stormed to Scottish Grand National victory at Ayr under Tom Scudamore, for trainer Lucinda Russell and his father Peter Scudamore. Tom, who is sponsored by Coral, challenged Dingo Dollar at the last fence and went on to win by three-quarters of a length.
Sam Twiston-Davies also recorded success at Ayr, winning the Scottish Champion Hurdle on Milkwood for trainer Neil Mulholland.
