AP McCoy will return to Cheltenham, not chasing the Gold Cup this time; but instead talking about his book “Winner: A Racing Life” at the Cheltenham Literature Festival in October. The recently retired 20 times Champion Jockey will take to the stage, alongside Booker prize winner Salman Rushdie, Nick Clegg, Jane Smiley, Christos Tsiolkas, India Knight and Nigella Lawson amongst others.
The Literary Festival presents the biggest names in literature, culture, politics, food and sport, and will run from October 2nd – 11th 2015. The event is in conjunction with the Times newspaper (for whom AP is an exclusive columnist) and the Sunday Times.
