AP McCoy, one of the UK’s top sportsmen, joined the Prime Minister David Cameron, Nicola Sturgeon & Lord Mandelson to speak at the Times CEO Business Summit 2015. Captains of industry, finance and commerce joined together to set targets for the business world to reach by 2020.
AP spoke of becoming the best in his sport, and remaining the best for two decades. He revealed his motivation to succeed, overcoming the challenges and dealing with the pressures of being the best in the world. David Cameron revealed his priority of increasing the thresholds of basic and higher rates of tax, while Nicola Sturgeon focused on her future plans, which isn’t to involve a second referendum.
