AP McCoy taught Victoria Pendleton a trick or two when schooling at Jonjo O’Neill’s yard for a Channel 4 feature to be broadcast on the Morning Line on Boxing Day. AP chatted to the two-time Olympic Gold medallist ahead of her expected ride in the Foxhunters’ Chase at the Cheltenham Festival.
They took four fences three times on the schooling grounds and were both aboard JP McManus owned horses – Pendleton taking the reins on 94-rated Mission Complete and the 20-times champion jockey was on Join The Clan.
