Jonjo O’Neill Jr won the biggest race of his career to date as Native River landed the Betfair Denman Chase for the third time at Newbury. Having won the CheltenhamGold Cup in 2018, Native River laid down a marker for this year’s Festival. 22 year-old Jonjo Jr, who currently tops the Conditional Jump Jockeys Championship, was chosen to ride Native River due to an injury to Richard Johnson.
