Richard Hughes has won the British Flat Jockeys’ Championship for a third consecutive year after Ryan Moore brought his domestic campaign to an end.
The championship is not due to end until November 8 but Ryan will not have any more rides in Britain due to commitments overseas meaning Richard retains the title. The 41 year old trailed Ryan for much of the season after missing the start with a broken back following a Dubai fall.
