Ryan Jones has become one of the most powerful men in Welsh Rugby after being appointed Performance Director of the WRU. The former Wales Captain and triple Grand Slam-winner has been head of rugby participation at the union for three years, with a remit to get more people engaged in the game at all levels in Wales. He will now sit on Welsh rugby’s new Professional Rugby Board and working with the national coach at times.
