The legendary Wales winger Shane Williams is to join ITV’s commentary team for the 2015 Rugby World Cup. Shane will report pitchside and co-commentate on all Wales’ matches over the RWC. He will also cover Japan’s matches, having spent the past few years as a player-coach out there. He will also be an expert analyst in the studio.

Shane recently retired from all forms of rugby and is a very well-liked and respected TV pundit. ITV are the only TV broadcasters with rights to this year’s Rugby World Cup which is being held in the UK. Shane joins the likes of Jonny Wilkinson, Lawrance Dallaglio, Brian O’Driscoll, Sir Clive Woodward, Sean Fitzpatrick amongst others.
