A bronze statue of Sir Anthony McCoy is to be unveiled on the opening day of the Cheltenham Festival. AP racked up 31 wins at the festival including two Cheltenham Gold Cups and three Champion Hurdles.
The life-size bronze will be situated on the Best Mate Plaza by the north entrance to the racecourse. It was crafted by Dublin-based sculptor Paul Ferriter.
