Sir Anthony McCoy will present the new 2015/16 Stobart Championship Jump Jockeys trophy at Sandown next month. AP, who is an Ambassador for the Stobart Championships, will hand over the new trophy to his old weighing room colleague and friend Richard Johnson.
Richard has ridden over 200 winners this season and is the only active jockey to have ridden 3,000 career winners. AP chose the design of the new Aspreys trophy, having been awarded the trophy he received for 20 consecutive years upon his retirement.
