Sir Anthony McCoy will be coming out of retirement for one day only on September 15th, to ride in a Champions’ Race at the Curragh. The former 20 times Champion jockey will race alongside 9 former Champions over a straight mile during day two of the Longines Irish Champions Weekend.
Proceeds will go towards Cancer Trials Ireland, the leading cancer research trials organisation in Ireland. AP’s life-long friend Pat Smullen (who will also be riding) battled pancreatic cancer following a diagnosis in March 2018.
