Top jump jockey Tom Scudamore has announced his retirement from racing with immediate effect. Having suffered a second fall in as many weeks, the UK’s 10th most successful jockey decided it was time to hang up the saddle after a successful 25-year career. Tom recorded over 1500 winners, including the King George, several Cheltenham Festival winners and the Scottish National. The 40-year-old will continue his ambassadorial roles with Coral, ARC etc and build on his media career.
